It has been a full weekend. ULL won, LSU won and so did the Saints. While I tried to watch as much football as I could. My crochet kept moving, I finish Katey's hat and scarf, you will see it as soon as I give it to her for her birthday. Started a new project, a man's scarf the color is this nice deep brown. The pattern is similar to the child's scarf but not as lacy.
I go back to work today so I hope I can keep my production on projects once I am working evenings again.

Saturday
It has been a good day. I got up and put a small pork roast in the slow cooker after I browned it on all sides. Now I could get started on Gavin's hat and scarf. I am hoping to have it ready for his birthday party.
BABY BLUE AFGHAN
I have been working on this blanket for a little while. It's not for anybody in particular since no one is expecting. I wouldn't be opposed to selling it. I very please with it so far and will take another picture of it when it is done. I think it does need some blocking to make sure it will lie flat. Oh I needn't identify my model on the picture before its the birthday boy Gavin. He is always willing to help nanny our. Don't tell his daddy he would not be happy with me that I put the girls scarf on him.

Shopping
My sister Yvonne and I went shopping for Gavin's fourth birthday party. Of course we ended up at Hobby Lobby so I indulge my obsession of getting more yarn. I obtain some Red Heart Yellow and Black for Gavin's hat and scarf. His favorite transformer is bumblebee and so of course he wants it to be yellow and black. I am looking for a bumblebee button or a applicate to sew on the hat.

Purple Hat
These are my twin nieces- Grace is wearing the purple hat, Faith is wearing the pink. It is before school, notice how happy they are.
Enjoying the Fall
We are getting the first cool side of the season. It's hard to believe it was in the 80's yesterday.

After knee surgery
I have been recovering from knee surgery and it gave me lots of time to discover how relaxing crocheting is. This is the first project I completed, it's a hat and scarf for my great-niece Faith, who is modeling them in this photo. I am in the process of making a hat and scarf for her twin sister Grace but in purple with a pink flower. This is her favorite color.
